A group of investors came to 321 to craft a unique healthcare franchise with a spa-like experience and direct pharmaceutical access. 321 delivered with a name, brand, and launch campaign.

The Name is the result of our workshop and research, where we learned about Picker’s 8 Principles of Patient-Centered Care and their proclivity towards Greek aesthetics (theta is the 8th letter of the Greek alphabet). The Theta Care solution also clarifies the purpose of various service lines, without sacrificing the local emphasis: Theta Primary Care at Kissimmee Clinic, and Theta Urgent Care at Sunshine Health.

The cyclical nature of the mark symbolizes the brand’s regenerative and integrated approach to healthcare. The swirling motion of the mark around a central core conveys our life cycle and need for a support system—in this case, Theta.

A Greek Heritage

The Brand is heavily influenced by Cycladic architecture, the Greek style popularized in modern Mediterranean spas. Like the transformation of the theta symbol into our logo, we created a visual palette of robust, rounded forms and bright neutrals. By design, when these forms combine with lifestyle photography, the medical brand shifts from clinical to an almost home goods appearance.

The Launch Campaign positioned Theta Care as a cutting-edge leader within the regenerative, clinical spa industry. We built on their history as a healthcare conglomerate that created and sold CityMD, which sold in 2022 for $1B. As a comprehensive health provider, brand awareness around the spectrum of services was prioritized.

The central theme around the Theta launch campaign was a centered life. Our research revealed this as a primary motivator for our target audience when considering healthcare providers and pharmaceutical brands. Beyond the logo mark and messaging, we visually implemented rounded forms within signage and advertising.
