Lake Nona is a masterfully-planned, 17 square-mile community located in Orlando that prides itself on being a modern mecca for technology, innovation, and community. The ask was to focus design and development efforts on creating a centralized, ever-dynamic hub that would serve visitors a myriad of information, events and place-specific content. Based on the visitor interactions, the site continues to learn their interests and serve them content specifically tailored to those interests.

The Concept
The site needed to blend a clean, contemporary design that conveyed the full brand experience, while displaying a series of “content cards” that allowed users to discover everything there is about Lake Nona itself.

Features & Functionality
Much like the Lake Nona community, the site is ever-evolving. Development efforts were focused on creating a website that learns the type of content users are interacting with and serves them related and more specific content overtime. This was implemented through the use of cookies and tags – when a returning visitor lands on the site, the cookies and tags serve more relevant content through the algorithm we’ve built.
The content cards serve content in a dynamic fashion per category. We’ve identified a design pattern of content cards that appear as the user is browsing, and the cookies and tags of similar content populate those cards.
